Peter Iannone



Experienced Leadership

Peter serves as EquaTerra’s executive director for the Americas, as well as executive director of Information Technology Advisory Services. Peter is the founder and former president of Avanti Advisory, which was acquired by EquaTerra in 2006.

At Avanti, Peter led clients in the evaluation, negotiation, implementation and management of outsourcing alternatives, and managed the Avanti advisory teams that worked with clients and outsourcing transactions exceeding $20 billion in contract value.

Prior to founding Avanti Advisory, Peter was president of TPI, where he led teams that collaborated with clients in sourcing transactions. Peter led several clients through large-scale deals, among them are:  United Technologies Corporation's global multibillion dollar deal with CSC; AT&T's multibillion dollar transaction with IBM Global Services; and Ryder System's successful billion-dollar, full-scope sourcing deal with Andersen Consulting and IBM Global Services. Other clients included Scotiabank, Nortel and Bombardier.

Peter also led TPI in building global capabilities, training development, knowledge management and service offering development to better serve clients' needs.

Prior to TPI, Peter managed various aspects of JP Morgan's complex global technology services including global networks, trading support, contingency planning and business continuity.
