EquaTerra is, in the Nordic region as well as globally, a leading independent advisory firm. EquaTerra advisors deliver measureable results to clients’ IT and business processes through internal process improvement, shared services and outsourcing. In analyzing existing agreements, relationships and governance structures it offers advice to those looking to improve efficiency, quality and cost effectiveness.

Our advisors have supported more than 2,000 transformation and outsourcing projects across more than 60 countries during the last14 years. During 2008, our Nordic region advised on deals totalling a market value in excess of Euro 1.3 Bn (approx. SEK 14 Bn). EquaTerra in the Nordics was formerly known as Morgan Chambers (the leading IT sourcing advisory firm in Europe and Asia) which, in 2007, was acquired by EquaTerra (the leading business process sourcing advisory firm in North America).

Our advisors work throughout the entire sourcing lifecycle – from strategy and assessment through to solution design, procurement, implementation and ongoing improvement and governance. Our clients benefit from access to both local and global competencies (with deep knowledge about local providers as well as global players) and the experience of our advisors, best practices, templates, market data and statistics – for both IT and business processes. EquaTerra also conducts regular market research and analysis of the trends and players in the sourcing marketplace.

Our clients in the Nordic region are local organizations and companies, as well as large authorities and multinationals. Today, a rapidly increasing number of private and public sector organizations are considering the full spectrum of information technology (IT) and business process improvement options available to support fundamental business needs relating to issues of cost, service delivery and expertise.

Clients in the region include Atlas Copco, Itella, Electrolux, Nordea, If, Folksam, Trygg-Hansa, Codan, Svevia, the City of Stockholm and others.
